Every year, the Southwest Virginia Museum Historical State Park hosts the “Stitch in Time” Quilt Show, a cherished tradition that brings together artisans, historians and enthusiasts alike to celebrate the rich heritage of quilting in the region.

The Jessie Zander Collection of documents and photographs provides a valuable look at the African-American history of Wise County.
